If you’re in an active course of treatment with an out-of-network doctor at the time you become a member of the LM HealthWorks Plan, you may be eligible for Transition Coverage.

Transition of Care

Lockheed Martin wants to help you make a smooth transition to the LM HealthWorks Plan. An important part of this transition is ensuring that you receive the Right Care — whether it's continuing a course of treatment you’ve already begun, considering new providers within the plan’s extensive network, or moving your mail-order prescriptions to the Express Scripts Pharmacy.

Medical Transition of Care

You may have one or more of the questions below:
  • "I’m currently in a course of treatment with a doctor who does not belong to the plan’s network. Can I stay with this doctor?" Learn more »
  • "How can I find out if my doctor is in the plan’s network?" Learn more »
  • "I want to keep seeing my out-of-network doctor. What are my options?" Learn more »
  • "What should I do to find a new in-network doctor?" Learn more »
  • "How can I become more familiar with the plan’s network hospitals?" Learn more »
  • “I’ve been working with a plan case manager for help with medical treatment decisions. Will I be able to get this same kind of help under the LM HealthWorks Plan? Learn more »
  • “Two of my family members have been receiving telephone counseling with a plan nurse to help manage their chronic conditions. How can I help keep them on track once I'm a member in the new plan?” Learn more »

If you are in an active course of treatment, you may have more specific questions. The personal nature of your questions may require special handling. To accommodate this, you may choose to call an LM HealthWorks Plan representative at 1-877-458-4975 (8 a.m. to 8 p.m. local time; Monday – Friday) to discuss your situation.

The In-Network Advantage
When you use doctors and other providers who belong to the LM HealthWorks Plan’s network, you take advantage of special rates that in-network providers have agreed to charge plan members for services. When you use providers outside the network, these rates don’t apply, so you may pay more.

Prescription Drug Transition of Care

You may have one or more of the questions below:

  • “What happens if I have refills remaining with my current mail-order pharmacy? Will they be transferred to Express Scripts Pharmacy?” Learn more »
  • “How do I get started with Express Scripts Pharmacy?” Learn more »
  • “What is a “preferred” brand-name drug? How will my doctor know which drugs are preferred under the LM HealthWorks Plan?” Learn more »
  • “How will I know if my medication is subject to coverage management (such as prior authorization, step therapy, quantity limits) under the LM HealthWorks Plan?” Learn more »

If you have questions that aren’t addressed here, you may want to check out the Express Scripts Pharmacy website or you may call an LM HealthWorks Plan representative at 1-877-458-4975 (8 a.m. to 8 p.m. local time; Monday – Friday) to discuss your situation.
